Ever grateful to you, and so appreciative of your genius and generosity. Thank you, and so deeply wishing you and everyone all the best for what's next <3
I'm so sorry to hear this news. I found Catapult for the first time during Covid and loved the "don't write alone" section. It was so great, so comforting, so helpful. There will be a hole in the literary community for quite some time.
Gorgeous piece, Tajja. I hope the process of collecting your catharsis into eloquent reflections has brought some relief to this heart-wrenching situation. I feel hopeful knowing people like you exist in the writing world, and I know you’ll make a positive impact wherever you land next.
This is such a beautiful tribute to a place that meant a lot to so many. Your work, your voice and advocacy and input changed so many peoples careers for the better. I have endless appreciation for you and your work and I know that wherever you go next will be lifted by your incomparable talent.
I’m so sorry this happened to you & your colleagues. I loved Catapult and read it every day for years. I also took several classes with people I extremely admired, at accessible price points and full of engaged classmates. I found a few eventual contributors for the anthology I edited because of essays they wrote for the magazine. I was also thrilled to have a pitch accepted for Don’t Write Alone and to be edited by you. Every time a magazine (online or otherwise) shuts down I’m disheartened, but this one *really* hurt. I wish you and your colleagues the best & look forward to seeing what you do next.
Thank you so much. I'm so glad we got to work together on a piece—I personally found it such a useful resource!—and I'm so grateful to you for being part of the community around it.
I pitched once to Catapult but otherwise was too early in my personal essay writing life to really contribute. I am very sad it won’t be there when I will be ready to submit more.

Thanks so much, Ambika. So happy we got to publish your beautiful work.
